Drop that waist

1.30.2012

This is another special outfit that I have created during some much more pleasant days in terms of weather.
I had feared the arrival of these almost unbearable and merciless low temperatures I am currently experiencing which make it impossible for me to give you a new shooting .

I felt so challenged when I discovered this drop-waist trousers in my mother's closet, whose design is quite old-school and avoided by many because of the low hips cut, the double hemline and the middle crease down the leg.
Nonetheless, I find them rather charming and chic, although I admit I would have loved them to be a little bit longer so as to cover my heels, but in terms of texture and comfort they are amazing.
I'm wearing a black silk blouse I had no idea I still own, also whose design I find rather intriguing because of the baggy neck line and  an old black clutch which I spiced upwith a large flower brooch to make it a more fun.
I chose black to emphasize the grey hue of the trousers and also because it gives quite a mysterious flare to the entire outfit.
