Another inspiring, enriching day in Bucharest, our restless capital city which seems more beautiful whenever a fashion event is happening. This time it was the V for Vintage fashion fair the one that stepped into the spotlight, delivering to all the fashion nostalgics, including myself, an unforgettable, genuine vintage experience. With a totally positive theme: "Dare to wear colours", the fair opened up in a spaceous venue, comprising not only vintage but also talented young designers (see Molecule F ) It was the second time I ever took part at this fair, and this edition, with its vivid, colour-splashed background perfectly matched my overall mood these days, a completely optimistic one.
A captivating view, adorned with beautiful people, neon colours, floral, crazy prints, mouth-wattering goodies, a fashion-friendly atmosphere and good music, were just the perfect ingredients to create a unique fashion day, which ended for me in yet another special place, at the Carturesti bookstore in AFI Palace Cotroceni, a small piece of heaven where I met some amazing kids and extremely talented people, who mastered the art of oshibana, creating paintings with pressed flowers and other objects from natural materials. You can find them here.
P.S. New post coming soon with the outfit I was wearing at the fair.
