Not a day goes by without me sighing because I know I won't be able to offer you any more outfit posts until July. Still, I can't stay away too long from my blog, and because today was a special day for me already, being able to escape from my daily computer-study routine, here I am with a personal collection of photos to tell you a little story.

I am passionate about fashion design. Some might know that, some might not. Today, I had my final exam at fashion design in a local arts school from my home town after studying this for 2 years. It was the easiest, yet, most relaxing and exciting exam I ever had to prepare and it went smoothly. You'll see some snaps of the paper I had to prepare, together with my drawings and with the actual dress.

I used the dress you can see here, which I actually made in Holland during a summer camp, just for fun, as you can actually see, because it's all patched. Still, I used it as unfortunately I didn't have time to prepare anything new .

Here's the first dress I ever created. I don't quite like it anymore, but back then I was really proud of myself...still it's one of my best memories.

I created the blue dress together with my design teacher. Here I was at a "fashion show" organized by the school, together with my girls, who were also wearing their own designs.

This year I took part in a design contest which had a traditional theme, so I had to create something inspired by the Romanian traditional costume, using some unconventional fabrics..which were mostly plastic and steel wire for the corset. Then I applied some patches from traditional rugs knitted by my grandmother and lots of beadings, sequins and glitter on the corset. I was lucky to win the 1st prize, so this memory gained the first place in my top list. 

 Gathered for a group photo at the same contest with my amazing teacher whom I am going to miss so much and the other students. 

Another piece created entirely by me are these black satin pants, which are also my favourites. I was so frustrated before deciding to make them, because I just couldn't find a high-waisted pair of shorts which would suit my style..and yes, sometimes, I go back to rock..but just for the sake of some fun shots. ^^

We reached the moment when you are about to see my final design paper, which has nothing to do with design actually.. The theme I chose was "Online fashion" and I talked about blogging, online shopping and online magazines..It's a topic I am really interested in, and it projects my future studies  in fashion business.

Here's a hint of my current living environment..I honestly became so sick of all this school reading, and of studying only irrelevant stuff for my future career, but I really have to focus on it for another few weeks and then all these papers will  be burnt..or recycled. 

Luckily I have my favourite flower smiling at me every morning when I open the windows. 

That was it darlings, another one gone, four more to go..yes I am talking about exams...but I guess it's better to get a bad grade at a written exam than to fail life's exams, which actually make you suffer.
