BREDGADE 27 - 33, HERNING, DK . for those of you, fashion lovers living in chic little Herning, but also for those who might find themselves passing by, for various reasons, forget about the pubs & clubs you could visit ( not that many worth-while for the record, besides Murphy's ! - but that's another talk ) , and instead make sure you enter this little piece of heaven ( fashion heaven, that is ) to explore some of Denmark's finest apparel brands ! Oh, and boys, there's a super comfy couch there to relax on and you can also have some coffee..while waiting ( that if you are not searching for the perfect present for your lady of course ) !
I couldn't help not to take loads of photos during one of my visits to the store as it is truly one of my best recent discoveries here in Herning ! The shop showcases an industrial-chic design that blends perfectly with the funky, glamorous and urban garments available in the store , plus its wide space , situated on two levels, makes sure to give you a relaxing and enjoyable shopping experience. To be honest, I hate bumping into people having tons of clothes in my arms while heading towards the dressing rooms, so extra space is always a bonus in any store !
A few of the brands available in Jydepotten ( " Jutlander pot " as in a rough English translation ) are Malene Birger, Diesel, Ilse Jacobsen, Philosophy Blues Original, Soaked in Luxury, Stylesnob or Bitte Kai Rand + many others !
I have to say this particular hand-made dress from Philosophy Blues Original caught my eye immediately as soon as I entered the store ! Not very Danish-weather-friendly, but I could immediately envision myself wearing it on some sort of exotic trip..
Moving towards a more Scandinavian proper ( & helpful ) sartorial choice, the Ilse Jacobsen super cool rubber boots stole my heart in an instant !
