Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne take us to Public School

BOYS, TIME FOR A STYLE LESSON !

Meet PUBLIC SCHOOL, New York's coolest designer duo. The guys surely know business, and their latest achievement is none other than the grand prize of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund competition which pretty much translates into $300,000. In this case though, the figures come second, as what matters most is the priceless achievement of being recognized as the best upcoming menswear label on the market !

So these 2 overwhelmingly talented guys are currently living their dream... their NEW YORK dream, more accurately put, as their actual philosophy centers on the core of Big Apple's culture and history. The designers themselves made that clear in their brand statement: "Through the hands of two century's worth of production history, we strive to produce a garment that will last a lifetime and be something we can say was proudly made in New York."  ( PUBLIC SCHOOL)

The boys bring a classy swag to their designs which resonates with the ultimate modern, confident and stylish man of this fast-paced Millennium. There's a sharp, carefree and ultimately cool vibe about their garments "educated" at PUBLIC SCHOOL, which makes them so wearable & desirable.

Below I listed my top favourite looks from the brand's A/W 2013 collection .

Head on to their webpage and dive into a sea of New York-schooled-coolness !  We're definitely going to hear more from these guys, so better not skip classes !

P.S. For all you fashion enthusiasts wanting to dig dipper into the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund competition, there's a new six-part series, "The Fashion Fund",  starting to air January 22 on the Ovation arts channel.

And now, I'll leave you with the guys' favourite track, which they revealed in an interview for BARNEYS  . Great sound for a perfect evening !
